Under 21 can Legally own pistols?

Many people are misunderstanding the laws of someone owning a (Pistole) if they are under 21. Did you know if you're under 21 you can Legally own any type of pistol. By federal law it is illegal for a Federal firearm License Dealer to sell to anyone not over the age of 21. But if you're buying a pistol from a private party or want to build your own pistol as long as you're over 18 it is perfectly legal for you to do so. To show proof that this is real ATF.org stated (An individual of 18 years of age may inquire a handgun from an unlicensed individual who lives in the same state provided the person inquiring the handgun is not prohibited from possessing or receiving firearms under the federal law. A federal firearms license may not however sell or deliver firearms other than a shotgun or rifle to a person the license knows or has reasonable cause to believe he/she is under 21 years of age)-Stated By George Semonick of the ATF. It is fairly up to you to know your state's laws and it is your choice to proceed with this information.
